Hi, my name is Shaelynn!

I recently graduated from the Honours Bachelor of Science program with a double major in Computer Science and Earth Science at the University of Toronto Mississauga and currently work as a freelance Gameplay Programmer on personal projects to startup my own studio specializing in the development of mobile games.

Games have always been a passion of mine growing up, starting with fifth-generation console games and online Flash games, which later extended to MMOs, mobile games, and modern console titles. A major motivation to my drive for this career is learning the techniques to reimagine the internal workings of my favorite games and reverse engineering them! Throughout my experiences, I have also fallen in love with software architecture and game programming patterns to optimize software runtime and memory management.

I like to spend my spare time playing video games, listening to various artists and game OSTs, gardening, staring at rocks, doodling, and spoiling my dog.
